The Cell was a beautiful, dreamlike venture into the magic of visual cinema. The sets, camera work and art direction were marvelous. However, it was essentially the silence of the lambs, without the infamous "liver and fava beans" line. The accessory plots were either trite, or just downright unbelievable, and it ventured into the "shock for shock's sake" realm a bit too often. Plus, Jennifer Lopez was an odd casting choice. On the whole, worth seeing for the beauty of it, but maybe it's better to wait until it comes out on DVD. Then watch it on a flat screen TV (for you know who).
