This movie was the best comedy of the summer! Well maybe
that’s not true, I think I laughed harder during Scary Movie, but then I was
only laughing at the movie. In What Lies Beneath it’s almost
interactive. First there is completely predictable ploy, then stupid audience
is scared completely witless, and you get to laugh at all the idiots who
jumped half a mile out of their seats and screamed their little
mindless heads off when some stupid chick looks through a crack in a fence. I
think it was worth the ticket price since it proved that people really
are as stupid as I imagine them to be sometimes. Don’t rent this movie
when it comes out on Video and DVD unless you can gather a group of
idiots together for your personal entertainment, the movie itself is a
complete waste of time.

Though it was a bit predictable this movie was jump scary. The
lady in front of us actually threw her popcorn all over the row in
front of her. The flick didn't give me nightmares or anything but it was
worth seeing. Michelle Phiffer and Harrison Ford are still pretty fun
to watch even if they are getting up there in age (who could ever forget
Han Solo?). If you son't like weak endings walk out two minutes before
it is over, had the ending frames been edited the movie would have been
10x better.
