The Others

Now I'll be the first to tell you that Nicole Kidman is hot. But add guns and 1940's hairdo's.... holy crap. But then again, no matter how good looking one woman is, having her be insane brings her way down the scale! And that pretty much sums up nicole kidman in the others, which I may add gets a thumbs up. A great movie to make you jump. but actually has a storyline and some engaging film technique to go along with it. unlike most scary movies of the day. This one actually has some class to it. I definatly would spend 8.50 on this movie although I only spent 5 per ticket becuase I'm a cheapskate and I take Lesley to matinees. Anyways, unlike planet of the apes the people who made this movie went back and looked at it and made sure there were no obvious continuity errors or plot holes!!! how amazing that a movie would actually go and check itself. Its really well done and the mise e'n scene is perfect!!! thats why it gets a big

we saw previews for these movies.

well, kiel wrote a review for the others already, but i felt i had to add to it... from the perspective of someone who really just, isnt attracted to nicole kidman.....it was an awesome movie... amazingly well made, cinematography was brilliant.... but i figured out the end really quickly, so that bothered me, they shouldnt have made it quite so obvious, otherwise, awesome

I haven't seen this movie, nor do i plan on seeing it in the near future ( I think Nicole Kidman ripped poor Tom's heart in half, and she shall never be able to rebuild it). But I resent the intimation that Tim Burton is a less than careful director... I think you and I both know whose fault any plot holes in that movie are... Charleton Heston's. I don't care to know how, nor why, but a man who claims that such a delicious concoction of human by-products is "bad" or "unethical" has got to be behind the times and worth bearing the brunt of our aggression.
